After the Presidential election in Côte d’Ivoire, the Government and opposition are meeting this Monday, December 21, in view of the preparations for the Ivorian legislative elections in 2021.

According to the press release from the Prime Minister, a meeting of the Government with the Political Parties and Civil Society Organizations, as part of the Political Dialogue at 10:00 a.m. at the Prime Minister’s Office, Government Council room, building D.

Note that this famous dialogue convened at the Prime Minister’s office should simply focus on technical issues related to the organization of the next legislative elections. In particular, the revision of the Independent Electoral Commission (Cei), the electoral division, the grooming of the electoral code.

For the time being, no official reaction from the opposition coalition led by the former CNT President-designate, Henri Konan Bédié, on the resumption of political dialogue. Because within this coalition of the Ivorian opposition, there is a fierce debate on the participation of legislative elections.
