The Prime Minister, Hamed Bakayoko, at the head of a government delegation, went to present the compassion and express the solidarity of the government to the family of an illustrious servant of the State, the late President of the Economic, Social, Environmental Council and cultural, Marcel Zadi Kessy.
Spokesman for the delegation, Secretary of State for Capacity Building, Zoro Bi Épiphane, said the government delegation was dispatched by the President of the Republic, Alassane Ouattara.
“The Ivory Coast has lost an illustrious servant of the State. The government delegation led by Prime Minister Hamed Bakayoko was dispatched by President Alassane Ouattara to come and bow before the remains of the illustrious disappeared and bring his compassion and solidarity with the family. The Nation stands alongside the widow, the large Zadi Kessy family and the allied families in this painful ordeal, “said Zoro Bi Épiphane.
On behalf of the Head of State, he remitted the sum of 20 million FCFA as a contribution to all the expenses planned for the funeral of Marcel Zadi Kessy.
Family spokesperson Albert Bottey Dago expressed his gratitude to the President of the Republic, the Prime Minister and all members of the government for their support.
Born January 31, 1936, Marcel Zadi Kessy died October 13, 2020 in Abidjan.
He will be buried on Saturday, January 30 in his native village Yacolidabouo (Soubré), in the strictest family privacy.
