Manchester United announced on Friday that they have reached an agreement with Juventus Turin for the transfer of Cristiano Ronaldo.
Twelve years after his departure, the Portuguese international striker (179 caps, 109 goals) will therefore wear the Red Devils jersey again, “subject to an agreement on personal conditions, visa and medical examination”, as specified by the English club on its website.
The five-time Ballon D’Or France Football has reached an agreement with his new club for a two-year contract and a salary which is said to be around 25 million euros per season. His Turin adventure ended with two league titles, an Italian Cup and 101 goals in 134 matches.
A turnaround that could be explained in particular by an exchange between Ronaldo and Sir Alex Ferguson this Friday morning. According to several corroborating sources, the amount of the transfer amounts to € 15m + € 8m bonus.
